Importing from Capital One

Capital One provides CSV downloads for all credit card accounts.

CSV

Step 1: Export from Capital One

  1. 1 Log in to capitalone.com and select your credit card
  2. 2 Go to Account Activity and click "Download Transactions"
  3. 3 Select the date range and choose CSV
  4. 4 Click Download

Step 2: Import into Sproute

  1. 1 Open Sproute and navigate to your Capital One card
  2. 2 Click Import Transactions and select CSV
  3. 3 Select your downloaded Capital One CSV file
  4. 4 Review and confirm the import

Tips

  • Capital One CSVs include a Category column that Sproute can leverage
  • Debit and credit amounts are in separate columns — Sproute handles this automatically
  • Capital One limits CSV exports to 60 days at a time
