Importing from Chase

Chase supports CSV export for all credit card accounts. Here's how to get your transactions into Sproute.

Step 1: Export from Chase

  1. 1 Log in to chase.com and navigate to your credit card account
  2. 2 Click on the "Download account activity" link (look for it near the transaction list or under the three-dot menu)
  3. 3 Select your date range and choose CSV as the file type
  4. 4 Click Download — the file will be saved as something like Chase1234_Activity.CSV

Step 2: Import into Sproute

  1. 1 Open Sproute and navigate to the card you want to import to
  2. 2 Click Import Transactions and select CSV
  3. 3 Drag in or browse to your downloaded Chase CSV file
  4. 4 Review the parsed transactions and click Confirm Import

Tips

  • Chase CSVs include the Category column — Sproute uses this for initial categorization
  • Chase separates purchases and payments/credits — both are imported
  • If you have multiple Chase cards, export and import each one separately
